Dr. Chace Mickelson
As an Idaho native, Dr. Chace Mickelson graduated from Idaho State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He later attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he received the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2014. Following dental school, Dr. Mickelson and his family returned to their Idaho roots, and he has been practicing dentistry in the Coeur d’ Alene area since.
Dr. Mickelson and his wife Sasha have two incredible little girls—Arden and Liv. Together, they love to experience all that North Idaho offers, from incredible hiking and biking to relaxing on the many lakes in the area.
Dr. Mickelson is thrilled to be a part of the North Idaho Dental Group team, and his goal is to provide exceptional, state-of-the-art dental care in a relaxing and comfortable environment.
Dr. Hatta Clark
Dr. Hatta Clark attended South Dakota State University College of Nursing, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and RN status, graduating in 2006. She subsequently obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011 from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Dr. Clark joined North Idaho Dental Group in 2021 and enjoys making connections and collaborating with patients to improve their oral health.
In her free time, Dr. Clark enjoys family, skiing, fishing, and boating.
Amy
Office Manager
Amy started in the dental field in 1990, working as an assistant. When she joined NIDG in 2012, she did insurance billing, then became the office manager in 2015. She attended completed her certified dental assisting training at TriTech Skills Center.
Amy oversees daily production and scheduling and is involved with patient care, treatment planning, patient billing, finance options, payroll, and anything else needed! Her favorite thing to do is complex treatment planning and ensuring patient satisfaction when their case is completed.
Outside of dentistry, Amy loves spending time with her family and traveling anywhere it's warm.
Abbey
Front Office Coordinator
Abbey has been with the Ponderay office since the beginning! Her calm demeanor and great attitude has benefitted her first as a dental assistant, and now as our front desk office coordinator!
Stephanie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Stephanie graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She started in dentistry in 2002 and has been working with NIDG since 2018, providing comprehensive oral hygiene treatment, including diagnostics, prevention, treatment and education.
Stephanie enjoys performing preventative cleanings and periodontal disease therapy and providing personalized care plans that include a path to oral health and patient comfort. Her other responsibilities include diagnostics, such as x-rays and periodontal charting, sealants, fluoride application, oral hygiene instruction, and anesthetics.
Outside of the dental office, Stephanie is married to a merchant marine engineer and keeps busy with their two daughters’ school activities.
